Bob Russell has been blowing his “bugles” on and off for over 45 years. A member of numerous musical ensembles, including two big jazz bands, his love for music is primarily focused on jazz and Christian music.
“Flying Free,” his first release, is a collection of Christian songs that provides a variety of good listening music—historical standards and some newer, integrated “contemporary-jazz-blues” songs that showcase his talents on the trumpet and flugelhorn.
