Evelyn Chiao has been a world traveler since she came to the U.S. in 1970.   She was born in China and educated in Taiwan.

For those scenes that are serene, warm or poetic, they often win my heart immediately. For those scenes that are depict struggle, conflict and persistence, I also record.  

My photos are a combination of travelogue, conceptualism, abstraction and work with the use of digital techniques.   They convey either aesthetics or an expression of mood.

My work expresses my desire to reach out and embrace the world.
